MID-AMERICA PRO-TRACK SONIC KOFORD 1/24 SCALE NO-BAR DRAG RACE SLOT CAR

Description

This car is based on a Mid-America #270 nickel plated chassis plate in its "no-bar" configuration.  Assembled professionally with nearly 40 years of building experience behind it.
Motor:  Mid-America E.T. Drag Motor.
Gears:  Koford 14-tooth 64-pitch pinion.  Sonic 46-tooth 64-pitch crown
Body:  Mid-America .015 thick lexan Mustang LX painted by Race Pace.  Heavily reinforced where pins hold body to chassis.  Pin tubes are also grommeted to prevent "push-through"
Wheels & Tires:  Pro-Track Pro Star "I" fronts and rears.  Rears are natural rubber .435 wide by 1.060 tall
Body mount and front axle tubes are reinforced with spring steel to prevent bending.
Total Car weight:  145 grams
Performance:  On it's third pass (once the tires were "seasoned" a bit) the car went .92 with a .15 60-foot and 44 mph on our scale 1,000-foot strip.
